This is the "old version" to most contemporary Christians of today. It's like trying to read Shakespeare for enjoyment. While some dyed-in-the- wool Catholics and Lutherans might clamor over this version, it can be very intimidating to the newcomer in faith. It is however a great reference when used in conjunction with a more modern version.
